DETROIT LAKES — Carter White captured the Mid-STate Conference individual championship after shooting a 2-over 73 for the third-place Staples-Motley Cardinals Monday, May 16, at Detroit Lakes Country Club.
S-M’s Grant Bestland tied for third with a 75.
Tyler Seeling carded a 75 for the second-place Pequot Lakes Patriots. Anthony Armstrong fired a 78.
Frank Meyer finished eighth with an 82 for Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin while Will Meyer shot an 83 to finish 10th.
Cole Woods paced the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines with an 89.

Nathan Boser paced the fourth-place Little Falls Flyers with an 83 while Cullen Moe and Richie Varriano each shot 87s and tied for 17th.
