LITTLE FALLS — The top-seeded Little Falls Flyers advanced to the Section 5-1A Semifinals after defeating the No. 8 Sauk Rapids Storm 6-2 Wednesday, Feb. 23.
The Flyers led 3-0 after two periods before the Storm cut the lead to 3-2 midway through the third period.
The Flyers answered with a goal a few minutes later before scoring two empty-net goals in the final minute to secure the victory.
Little Falls will host No. 4 Monticello in the Section 5-1A Semifinals Saturday, Feb. 26.
