SAUK CENTRE — Pierz’s Nathan Tax placed fifth overall with a 17:39.96 run as the Pioneer boys finished third in the Mainstreeter Invite Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The Pioneer girls finished second with Quinn Gruber running a sixth-place 20:39.60.

Chloe Lochner placed eighth for Pierz and Carissa Andres ninth.
