Area Cross-Country: PRB boys place 1st

The Pine River-Backus Tigers competed in the Deer River/Northland Invite.

MENAHGA — Jacob Schnoor ran a first-place time of 19:55 to lead the Pine River-Backus boys team to victory Tuesday, Sept. 27, in the WarEagle Deer River/Northland Invite.

Andrew Bueckers was second in 19:58 followed by Ethan Burns in fifth, Reese Trumble in ninth.

The PRB girls placed third with Ashlee Crawford’s fourth-place time of 23:40 leading the way.
