STAPLES — Morgan Krieger knocked out her own teammate in a scorecard playoff to earn individual medalist honors and lead the Pequot Lakes Patriots to a first-place finish Friday, May 13, in the Cardinal Open at The Vintage at Staples.
Krieger shot 79 as did Genevieve Birkeland. Annie Neva ad Charlee Sullivan both shot 84s for Pequot’s 326.
Staples-Motley placed third with Mallory Uselman and Bo Erholtz both carding 88s.
Taylor Bordwell tied for third individually with an 83 to lead Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin to ninth.
Emma Weniger shot 99 for the sixth-place Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines.
