WALKER — Hannah Barchus carded a fourth-place 92 and Cate Travis placed seventh to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to second place in a Northern Pines Conference meet Monday, May 23, at LongBow Golf Club.

Pierz scrambles to win

MORA — All three Pierz pairs shot 41s to tie for first place individually and lead the Pioneers to a team title Monday, May 23, during the Mora Scramble at Spring Brook Golf Course.

Pillager places 6th

ELBOW LAKE — Kimberly Keefe shot a 100 to place eighth and lead the Pillager Huskies to sixth place Monday, May 23, in the Quad County Conference Championship.


Keefe’s 100 helped her place seventh in the final conference standings and earn all-conference honors.
