PILLAGER — Hailey Wright and Hunter Woidyla each drove in three runs as the Pillager Huskies tripled up the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder 9-3 Saturday, May 14.
Wright finished 1-1 with three RBIs. Woidyla was 2-3 with a double and three RBIs
Brooklyn Rudrud finished 3-4 with two runs and Olivia Peterson went 3-4 with two runs and an RBI. Tessa Danielson also drove in two runs for the Huskies.
Jenna Woidyla, Hannah Christle and Briana Blais all finished with multiple hits.
Blais struck out nine and walked none over seven innings pitched. She allowed three runs, two earned on four hits.

FRAZEE — Despite a combined 25 strikeouts from their pitchers, the Pequot Lakes Patriots suffered their first two losses of the season Saturday, May 14, 2-1 to Frazee and 5-3 to Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.
In Game One, Morgan Eckes struck out 10, walked two and allowed one earned run on five hits.
Kaitlyn Geschwill went 3-3 with a run and two stolen bases and Kelci Martini doubled for Pequot’s offense.
In Game Two, Geschwill struck out 15, walked two and allowed two earned runs on 10 hits.
Pequot finished the two games with an uncharacteristic six errors.
Geschwill tripled, Eckes doubled and Martini was 2-3 with a run.
