PILLAGER — Pillager’s Hannah Christle slammed a triple in Game One and Sam Berent in Game Two as the Huskies split with the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines in Park Region Conference doubleheader Tuesday, May 17.
The Wolverines won Game One 7-4. Jenna Dykhoff went 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Christle went 3-4, with two RBIs for the Huskies.
Pillager recorded an 11-5 win in Game Two with Christle, Tessa Danielson and Briana Blais all registering three hits.
Jenna Dykhoff went 3-3 with three RBIs for the Wolverines in Game Two.

Pequot Lakes sweeps DL
PEQUOT LAKES — Morgan Eckes and Kaitlyn Geschwill each pitched no-hitters for the Pequot Lakes Patriots as they swept the Detroit Lakes Lakers 10-0, 10-0, in a Mid-State Conference doubleheader Tuesday, May 17.
Morgan Eckes got the win in Game One as she struck out six over five innings while also going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs at the plate.
Kelsi Martini went 3-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Brea Eckes went 3-4 with a double and Maya Orvis and Geschwill each finished 2-3 for Pequot in Game One.
Geschwill struck out 12 over six innings in Game Two. She walked two.
Maci Martini was 2-3 with an RBI in Game Two while Abi Martin recorded a double.
