WADENA — Amber Collins won the 200- and 400-meter dashes for the Wadena-Deer Creek girls team, which also saw Isabelle Larson win the pole vault and triple jump Thursday, May 5, at the Sam Kelderman Memorial Invite.
The WDC girls and the boys swept the team titles. Brady Domier won the 110 hurdles and the pole vault.
Other Wolverine winners were Matthew Pugsley 400 dash, Bjorn Brunsberg 1600 run, Lane Hoefs 3200 run and Charlie Bushinger in the triple jump.
Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale girls were second overall with wins coming from Olivia Stanley at the 100 dash, Mia Arroyo in the 3200 and Madison Packer at long jump.
BHV boys were also second overall with Aidan Bryniarski winning the 100 and 200 dashes, Preston Miller the 800 run and Tyce Russell the 300 hurdles.

Pillager’s Jess Kimman won the 100 and 300 hurdles while the Pillager boys 4x400 team had a win to bring both the Huskies boys and girls to third.
The Pine River-Backus girls were fifth as a team with their win coming from Alaura Dahl in the high jump. PRB boys placed seventh.
