CROSBY — Brynn Hollenhorst recorded 33 set assists, 11 digs, and three aces as the Crosby-Ironton Rangers defeated the Hill City Hornets 3-2 Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Sammie Hachey finished with 10 kills and seven digs while Josie Schafer tallied eight kills, four aces, seven digs and four blocks for the Rangers.

WADENA — Wadena-Deer Creek’s Madison Carsten recorded 18 kills and 13 digs for the Wolverines as they defeated the Staples-Motley Cardinals 3-0 in a Section 6-2A matchup Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Montana Carsten gave the Wolverines 19 digs while Addyson Gravelle tallied 34 set assists.

ALBANY — Maci Martini recorded 19 kills, five digs and three aces as the second ranked Class 2A Pequot Lakes Patriots swept the Class 2A eighth ranked Albany Huskies 3-0 in a Section 6-2A matchup Tuesday, Sept. 27.

Ella Kratchovil tallied eight kills and 16 digs while Abi Martin finished with 34 set assists for the Patriots who improved to 12-1 this season.

The Pirates lost the first two sets before rallying to force a fifth set which WHA won 15-12.

Reagan Ludovissie tallied 14 set assists, 12 digs and eight kills in the loss for Verndale.
