Area Volleyball: Cardinals sweep Rangers on the court

CROSBY — Staples-Motley’s Maggie Claussen tallied 19 digs while Oliviah Lorber registered 11 kills for the Cardinals as they beat the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 3-0 in a Mid-State Conference matchup Thursday, September 29.

Annie Schlosser recorded 20 set assists for the Cardinals and Jade Storry added 15 digs.

Maci Martini recorded 17 kills, 11 digs and three aces for the Patriots while Abi Martin finished with 35 set assists and 10 digs.

Grace Hoffard chipped in seven kills and five blocks for the Patriots who improved to 13-1 this season.
