Area Wrestling: Pierz collects 3 blowout wins

Four area wrestling teams hit the mat Tuesday, Feb. 7.

CLOQUET — Carter Young finished 3-0 with two pins to help the Pierz Pioneers defeat Cloquet-Esko-Carlton 69-9, Rush City/Braham 62-8 and Rock Ridge 61-6 Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Wyatt Dingmann and Derek Stangl finished 3-0 with one pin and Kyle Stangl, Chase Becker, Jack Byker and Jayden Zajac each went 3-0 for the Pioneers.

Mason Rausch won by major decision and Ryan Kloecki added a 12-8 decision for Little Falls.
