Athletics: 6 Pioneers honored

The Pierz Pioneers held their senior awards banquet.

PIERZ — Six different names were called for awards during the Pierz Pioneers senior activities banquet May 4.

Landing the Performers of the Year award, which is voted on by activity advisors were Abby Skwira and Caleb Kuske.

Athletes of the Year, voted on by the 2021-22 letterwinners, went to Katie Leidenfrost and Trevor Radunz.

The Pioneer Coaches voted on the Student-Athletes of the Year. Those honors went to Kiara Olesch and Ben Virnig.

Pierz three-sport athletes this season were Leidenforst, Olesch, Trista Krych, Andrew Winscher, Zach Jones, Alexander Gerwing, Radunz and Virnig.
