Athletics: Pierz to induct 3 state title teams

PIERZ — Three state title-winning teams will be inducted into the Pierz Athletic Hall of Fame Sept. 16 announced the Pierz Hall of Fame Committee.

All three teams win be inducted into the team category. Those teams are the 2004 and 2005 state champion wrestling teams and the 2004 state champion football team.

The induction is scheduled for Sept. 16 at halftime of the Pierz football game against Montevideo. There will be a reception at Frosty’s following the game.
