Boys Golf: Warriors' Ringler earns all-conference

Brainerd competed in the second day of the CLC Championship.

SARTELL — Dawson Ringler’s 79 Monday, May 23, gave him a two-day 153 which was good for fifth place in the Central Lakes Conference Championship and helped the Brainerd Warriors to second place as a team.

Turner Person tied for sixth with a two-day 155. He shot 76 Monday. Ryan Kennedy tied for 10th with a 158. The sophomore shot an 82 Monday.

Ringler earned All-Central Lakes Conference honors as he placed fourth in the final conference standings. Person and Max Holmstrom were all-conference honorable mentions.

Team scores: 1-Alexandria 294 (595), 2-Brainerd 315 (626, 3-Sartell 313 (634), 4-Willmar 329 (644), 5-Fergus Falls 335 (673), 6-Sauk Rapids 353 (688), 7-St. Cloud 362 (735), 8-Rocori 396 (783), 9-Sartell 364
