Boys Soccer: Knights rally to top Warriors

ALBERTVILLE — A late second-half goal and then overtime score turned a 2-0 Warrior lead into a 3-2 overtime loss for Brainerd against St. Michael-Albertville Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Nick Holmberg tallied Brainerd’s first goal on an assist from Kyle Duff and Sean Engelstad scored with time running out in the first to give Brainerd a 2-0 halftime edge.

The loss is Brainerd’s first against a Section 8-3A opponent. They move to 2-1-2 against section teams and 3-2-2 overall.
