Girls Hockey: Warriors sweep series with Stars

The Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors traveled to Richmond to face River Lakes Thursday, Jan. 13

RICHMOND — Peyton LeMieur recorded a goal and an assist for the Brainerd/Little Falls Warriors as they defeated the River Lakes Stars 4-3 in a Central Lakes Conference game Thursday, Jan. 13.

Macy Peterson scored the first goal for the Warriors and Avery LeMieur tallied one to give the Warriors a 2-0 lead they held until the third period.

Kristina Baillif made the score 3-0 before River Lakes found the scoring column. Peyton LeMieur scored what would be the game-winner before the Stars scored twice to end the game.

Ericah Folden stopped 14 shots for the save as BLF scored a season sweep of the Stars as they beat them 3-0 Dec. 2.
