Girls Tennis: Warriors notch win over Greyhounds

BRAINERD — Ella Chaussee won at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-4 for the Brainerd Warriors in their 6-1 win over Duluth East Saturday, Sept. 24.

Lila Collins at No. 2 singles won 6-1, 6-1. The Warriors were supposed to play a quad, but rain forced them to only get one match in.

In doubles, Ellie Brown and Lydia Omberg won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles while Brooklyn Dietz and Hannah Hayes won at No. 3 doubles 7-5, 6-2.

In jv play, Lydia Olson, Jessica Cole, Brooke Mulholland, Lily Knoepke, Leah Soukup, Rebekah Soukup, Sophie Schamber and Kaya Anderson won in doubles.
