High School Football: Gobblers stay perfect with 28-14 win

The Aitkin Gobblers traveled to Two Harbors Friday, Sept. 16.

TWO HARBORS — Four rushing touchdowns helped the Aitkin Gobblers double up the Two Harbor Agates 28-14 in a Section 7-3A matchup Friday, Sept. 16.

Alex Palm’s 30-yard TD run followed by a Jacob Williams 6-yard scoring run gave the Gobblers a 12-7 halftime edge.

Tanner Nissen’s 12-yard run put the Gobblers up 20-7 heading into the fourth quarter.

Walker Jones scored his first varsity touchdown from 4-yards out for Aitkin’s final score.

Aitkin improves to 3-0.
