VERNDALE — Jeremy Haskins went for 94 yards receiving while hauling in two touchdown passes from Shawn Schmitz as the Verndale Pirates defeated the Brandon-Evansville Chargers 28-16 Wednesday, Oct. 19.

Corby Kern rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown while Jaden Schulke added a four-yard rushing touchdown as the Pirates end the regular season with a 7-1 record.
