Track and Field: Warriors sweep Sartell tri

The Brainerd Warriors competed in the Sartell Triangular Tuesday, May 2.

SARTELL — Brenna Deason captured first place in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and the pole vault to lead the Brainerd Warriors girls to first at the Sartell Triangular Tuesday, May 2.

Violet Goodwin won the 100 and 300 hurdles and Katelyn Kennedy captured the 3200 run. Cora Clough secured the high jump victory with a 5-foot-2 effort.

For the first-place Warrior boys, Isaak Maley took home first place for the 100 and 200 dashes.

David Herath won the 300 hurdles, Matt Toews won the 400 dash and Brandon Stark captured the 800 run.

Dylan Gross won the shot put with a 57-2 toss. Ty Nelson triple jumped to a first-place 38-11.25 and Gavin Hoelzel won the pole vault.
