Pro Boxing: Bonsante returns to ring Jan. 23

Crosby-Ironton High School graduate Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante will return to the ring Jan. 23 when he boxes Luis Ramon "Yori Boy" Campas in a super middleweight bout at the Civic Center in Butte, Mont.

Crosby-Ironton High School graduate Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante will return to the ring Jan. 23 when he boxes Luis Ramon "Yori Boy" Campas in a super middleweight bout at the Civic Center in Butte, Mont.

Bonsante, 45, will carry a 34-12-3 record into the fight. He last fought Sept. 26 in Kalispell, Mont., where he scored an 8-round unanimous decision over Daniel Gonzalez.

Campas, 44, is 105-17-3. He knocked out Glen Cislo in the second round of a scheduled 4-round bout in his last fight Nov. 7 at Three Forks, Mont.
