The Minnesota Wild are bringing back Nate Prosser, claiming the defenseman off waivers from the St. Louis Blues on Thursday.
Prosser left Minnesota for the Blues during the offseason after playing in 53 games for the Wild last season and contributing eight points and 58 penalty minutes.
In 126 games spanning five seasons with the Wild, Prosser has 21 points and 127 penalty minutes since he signed with the team as a free agent in 2009.
The Wild and Blues meet on Thursday night in St. Louis in a preseason game. The two teams meet again Saturday.
