COLD SPRING - The Cold Spring Springers scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth and held off the Brainerd Bees 6-4 in the winners' bracket of the Region 7B tournament Saturday.
Tyler Lenz went 3-for-5 with an RBI and Joel Martin was 2-3 with a sacrifice fly for Brainerd.
Burrell Flanagan pitched 5.1 innings and took the loss. He allowed six runs (3 earned) with no walks and one strikeout.
Joel Martin finished. In 2.2 innings, he allowed one hit.
Ben Griffin collected three hits for the Springers. Zach Femrite got the win on the mound and Justin Thompson earned a save.

Thompson and Tyler Geislinger each drove in two runs for Cold Spring.
The top-seeded Springers were scheduled to play Marshall in the winners' bracket at 1 p.m. Sunday for a chance to advance to the Region 7B championship game.
Brainerd was scheduled to play Beaudreau's of St. Cloud at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the losers' bracket but the game was postponed by rain until 7:30 p.m. Monday at Cold Spring.

Bees 9, Beaudreau's 2
COLD SPRING - Blake Eller struck out 15 in the complete-game victory and went 4-for-5 as the Bees defeated Beaudreau's 9-1 Friday night.

Eller allowed just two hits and two earned runs with two walks. At the plate, he smacked two doubles and a triple and drove in three runs.
Jack Hegarty, Kyle Crocker, Tyler Lenz and Blake Peterson each had two hits for Brainerd. Lenz and Peterson each drove in two runs.
Ryan Schneider hit a 2-run homer for Beaudreau's.
