Registration for the 34th annual Dump Run in Aitkin is open.
The quarter marathon is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7 with a 5K scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
The course runs through the original trial course that features rolling hills, wooded areas and gravel roads. It will start at the Pine Lake access and head northeast by the old dump past a water stop and north on old 169 before finishing at Paulbeck’s County Market in Aitkin.
The 5K will begin at Paulbeck’s and cross Ripple River into Aitkin City Park before returning to Paulbeck’s.
