Running: Peterson, Lyscios pace Race for Grace

Jonathan Peterson, Tom Lyscio and Makiah Lyscio were the overall winners in the fifth annual Race for Grace May 29 at Forestview Middle School in Baxter.

Jonathan Peterson, Tom Lyscio and Makiah Lyscio were the overall winners in the fifth annual Race for Grace May 29 at Forestview Middle School in Baxter.

Peterson finished in 18:06, Tom Lyscio in 18:45 and Makiah Lyscio at 21:39.

The Race, honoring Grace Elizabeth Lee, is a charitable event benefiting The Brighter Days Foundation. Just under 400 walkers and runners participated to celebrate Grace's legacy and her sixth birthday. More than $5,000 was generated to benefit The Brighter Days Foundation and The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation's Gracie Lee Memorial Fund.
