Section 7-1A Wrestling: Fitzpatricks and Larson continue to finals

CASS LAKE — Aitkin’s Marshall Larson and Crosby-Ironton’s John Paul Fitzpatrick finished 3-0 and will advance to the state championship round after the Class 1A state prelims Saturday, March 20.

C-I”s Michael Fitzpatrick went 3-1 and placed second at 182 pounds to also advance.

Aitkin’s Nathan Trotter placed third at 113 pounds and Carson Kullhem was third at 145 pounds. Jack Grell landed in third at 152 pounds and Jacob Williams was third at 160 pounds.

The top two wrestlers in each weight class advance to the championship rounds.
