PINE RIVER — Parker Zutter, Easton Miller, Chance Abraham and Matthew Miller all went 2-0 with two pins each for the No. 2 seeded Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus Road Crew who won both of their matches in the Section 8-2A team tournament Thursday, March 11.
The Road Crew defeated No. 7 seeded Fergus Falls Otters 81-0 in the first match and outlasted the No. 3 seeded Detroit Lakes Lakers 37-27 in the second match.
PL/PR-B advances to the Section 8-2A finals for the first time since 2015.
Also finishing 2-0 for the Road Crew Thursday were Owen Carlson, Austin Staricha, Connor Tulenchik and Corbin Knapp.
