It’s at least two more home games for the Brainerd Warriors soccer programs.

The Brainerd Warrior girls soccer team secured the No. 2 seed for the Section 8-3A playoffs and will host the No. 7 Bemidji Lumberjacks 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in Brainerd.

The Warrior girls finished with an 11-1-3 overall record and were 4-0-2 against section opponents. Brainerd finished the regular season ranked 19th in the Quality Results Formula.

The No. 1 seed went to Rogers, who Brainerd just tied 1-1 Saturday. The Royals were 10-4-2 overall with a 3-0-1 record against section opponents. They were ranked 20th in the QRF. Rogers will open against No. 8 Moorhead.

No. 4 St. Michael-Albertville wil host No. 5 Buffalo while No. 3 Elk River hosts No. 6 Sartell

The Warriors were 6-0-1 at home and have not lost since Sept. 21. Since then Brainerd is 5-0-3, including a 5-1 victory over Bemidji Sept. 25.

The Section 8-3A semifinals are scheduled for Oct. 16 at the high seed with the championship match scheduled for Oct. 19 at the high seed.

The Brainerd boys soccer team landed the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 Sartell 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, in the Section 8-3A playoffs at Adamson Field.

The Warriors finished the regular season with a 7-5-4 overall record. The Warriors were 3-3-2 against section opponents. Both section ties came against the Sabres. On Sept. 9, Brainerd tied Sartell 0-0 and the two squads played to a 1-1 tie Oct. 5. Brainerd is 4-1-2 in its last seven games.

Moorhead is the No. 1 seed and will host No. 8 Elk River. No. 2 St. Michael-Albertville will host No. 7 Buffalo, while No. 6 Bemidji will travel to No. 3 Rogers.

The section semifinals will be Oct. 19 at the high seed with the section championship scheduled for Oct. 21 at the high seed.

The Little Falls Flyers girls program earned the No. 3 seed and will open Section 8-2A play against No. 6 Sauk Rapids 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, at the Belle Prairie Athletic Complex

The Flyers finished the regular season with a 12-3-1 overall record and were 4-2 against section opponents. Little Falls finished the regular season with a 2-1 victory over Sauk Rapids.

The Alexandria Cardinals earned the No. 1 seed and will host No. 8 Rocori. No. 4 St. Cloud Tech hosts No. 5 Detroit Lakes and No. 2 East Grand Forks hosts No. 7 St. Cloud Apollo.

The Little Falls Flyers boys team landed in the No. 7 seed and will face No. 2 7 p.m. St. Cloud Tech Thursday, Oct. 14, in St. Cloud. The Flyers finished the regular season 2-13 and fell to the Tech Tigers 7-0 Sept. 20.
