Pequot Lakes’ Kaitlyn Geschwill pitched a complete game shutout in the championship game of the Varsity Development Fastpitch Softball League on Wednesday, July 10.
Rian Zutter pitched complete game victories against Sebeka and Wadena-Deer Creek to send Pequot Lakes to the Championship game against Park Rapids.
Pequot Lakes pitchers combined for 29 strikeouts in the three games and allowed only nine hits and nine walks. All players contributed on offense.
