The Pequot Lakes 12-and-under softball team won the second annual Up North Grand Slam tournament June 18 in Grand Rapids.
Pequot finished 2-1 on Saturday and defeated the No. 2 seeded Hibbing 7-0 Sunday before topping top-seeded Hibbing White 6-2.
The team is Abi Martin (front, left), Kaitlyn Geschwill, Quinn Trottier, Regan Olson, Avery Bergstrom (middle, left), Gabby Ziesemer, Kelbee Kampi, Macy Jackson, Brea Ecks and Maci Martini. Not pictured are Andrea James and Lucy Peterson.
The coaches are Larry Geschwill, Pat Trottier and Jeff Ecks.
