Maddy Stall made sure Brainerd's big rally at Adamson Field Thursday in Brainerd wasn't wasted.
The Warriors junior laced a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning to secure a 10-9 Central Lakes Conference victory over the Rocori Spartans.
Stall, who finished 3-4 with a triple and three RBIs, scored Elaina Christiansen, who singled and Hannah Munsch, who reached on an error to keep the Warriors unbeaten.
"I'm really proud of the girls and how they didn't give up and kept working," said Brainerd head coach Shane Jordan. "They just kept believing in each other. That's the strongest attribute this team has. We have a bunch of players, some of whom are seniors, who aren't getting a lot of playing time yet, but are yelling and supporting their teammates. This is a very supportive team."
The Warriors rallied from a 9-4 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning. Maddie Ellingson continued her hot hitting going 2-2 with three runs scored and Christiansen finished 3-4 with a triple and two runs.

Maren Hadrits pitched the final three innings to record the win. He struck out two, walked none and allowed one run on four hits.
"As the girls were coming off the field heading into the bottom of the sixth I just told them, 'hey, we scored seven runs in one inning against Tech. Let's go out and just get a few back this inning.' Well, we went out and scored five runs and tied the game." Jordan said.
