Area Softball: PR-Backus remains unbeaten in conference play

PINE RIVER—Lindsey Tulenchik went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs to lead the Pine River-Backus Tigers to a 14-2 victory over the Cass Lake-Bena Panthers in an Upper Mississippi Conference game Wednesday.

Emma Mills was 1-1 with a run, RBI and double. Bailey Wynn knocked out a triple with two runs and one RBI.

Jada Olivier pitched three innings, struck out six and added a double for PR-B, which has won four consecutive games and is 8-0 in the conference, The Panthers have lost 11 straight and are 4-6 in the UMC.
