Jordyn Sullivan finished 4-4 with two doubles and two RBIs as the Brainerd Warriors defeated the Sartell Sabres 14-1 after suffering a 4-2 loss Wednesday, May 15, in a Central Lakes Conference doubleheader at Adamson Field in Brainerd.

In Game One, Jenna Meyer went 2-4 with a double for the Warriors.

Emma Tautges struck out seven and sister, Olivia Tautges, struck out two.

Brainerd's Grace Erholtz knocked out a bases-clearing triple. Chloe Munsch went 2-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored. Meyer collected two hits and Clare Ceynowa and Olivia Hoelz hit doubles for the Warriors in Game Two

"I was proud of the way we responded offensively," said Warriors head coach Shane Jordan. "Despite the setback in Game One, we responded to that adversity and had a great team victory."

Olivia Tautges pitched the Game Two win. She allowed one run on five hits and one walk. She struck out two.

Brainerd leads the Central Lakes Conference with 13 points, Rocori trails behind with 12 points and Sartell is in third with 11 points.
