PILLAGER — Morgan Eckes went 1-4 with one run and one RBI along with being the winning pitcher allowing two hits and striking out five for the Pequot Lakes Patriots in a 3-2 victory over the Pillager Huskies in a non-conference game Thursday, May 20.
Kaitlin Geschwill went 3-4 with one hit and Maci Martini had one run. Afton Crocker and Rita Ganley each had one RBI for Pequot, which won its seventh straight.
Brooklyn and Hannah Eastman had one run with Jenna Woidyla had one RBI for Pillager.

KIMBALL — Halle Zupan doubled, scored a run and notched three RBIs in a 7-4 win for Pierz over Kimball in a non-conference game Thursday, May 20.
It was the ninth straight win for the Pioneers as they improved to 18-1 overall.
Emily Sadlovsky pitched four innings. She gave up two earned runs on five hits while striking out three.
Tori Wagner came on in relief and pitched three innings. She struck out six and earned the win.

HENNING — Led by Nevada Schulz, Montana Carsten and Katelyn Gardner, the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines put 16 hits on the board but suffered a 16-15 Park Region Conference loss to Ottertail Central Thursday, May 20.
Schulz finished 4-5. Carsten and Gardner each notched three hits with Gardner also knocking in seven runs.
The teams were to play a doubleheader but will play Game Two Thursday, May 27.
