FRAZEE — Maci Martini doubled in the fourth inning and drove in two runs which proved to be the winning runs for No. 1 Pequot Lakes in a 3-1 win over No. 5 Barnesville in the Section 8-2A quarterfinals Thursday, June 3.
The Patriots trailed 1-0 going into the fourth inning when Taylor Scherack tripled and scored to tie the game.
Morgan Eckes struck out eight batters and didn’t give up an earned run and was rewarded with the win as the Patriots won for the 11th straight time.

FRAZEE— Kaitlyn Geschwill went 3-3 with three runs scored and also recorded the win in an 8-3 win for Pequot Lakes over Frazee in the Section 8-2A semifinals Thursday, June 3.
Maya Orvis was 2-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs.
Geschwill struck out 11 batters and gave up two runs. After the second inning, Geschwill and the Patriots defense recorded 17 outs in a row.

Erika Dickmann had a double with one RBI and Tori Wagner pitched seven innings with nine strikeouts and allowed one hit and one earned run.

BERTHA — Reagen Ludovissie hit a double with one run and one RBI for the No. 2 seeded Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders in the Section 5-1A quarterfinals leading the team to a 7-4 win against the No. 3 seeded Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars Thursday, June 3.
Madison Schmitz went 1-3 with one RBI and Becca Stanley also went 1-3 with one RBI. Hailey Hudalla went 2-4 with one RBI and was also the winning pitcher in seven innings. She only allowed six hits and four runs with three strikeouts.

Victoria Koering finished 3-3 with a run and Ramsey Tulenchik went 2-4 with two runs and one RBI.
The Tigers end their season 11-11 overall.
