The Brainerd Warrior sophomore football team opened its season Monday with a 28-14 win at St. Cloud Tech.
Trailing 8-0, the Warriors scored 28 unanswered points over the next three quarters.
Max Zimmerman rushed for two Brainerd touchdowns. Charlie Geraets scored one rushing TD and caught a 6-yard scoring pass from Joe Stolski.
Tanner Stenglein and Max Boran each scored on 2-point conversions.
The Warriors forced three turnovers with Jacob Hodge blocking a punt, Ryan Peterson recovering a fumble and Trystan Richardt intercepting a pass.

Brainerd finished with 258 total yards to Tech's 138.
The Warriors play at St. Cloud Apollo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
