BARROWS-Rebounding from a second-place finish July 7, Modified driver Shawn Fletcher returned to the winners stand Saturday, July 14 with a win in the 15-lap feature event at North Central Speedway.
Fletcher finished in front of Justin Jones and Billy Kendall III.
With the win, the second of the season for Fletcher, he increased his point lead to 13 in the quest to defend his 2017 track championship.
Jake Goetze picked up his third win in the Super Stock feature with Dylan Nelson finishing second. Goetze increased his point lead to five over Nelson.
Last season, Sport Modified driver Jake Hagemann put up a fight for the season points championship before finishing second behind David Siercks. Hagemann scored his first win of this season Saturday and is on the edge of the 2018 points chase, which Siercks currently leads Troy Jorday by one point. Hagemann is third, 11 points off the pace.

Adam Prieve was the Mod 4 feature winner and Dustin Virkus picked up his second straight win in the Sport Compact feature.
Tim Gonska remains the hottest driver at the track with his fifth win of the season and second straight win in the Hobby Stock feature. He increased his points lead to 25.
