Stock Car Racing: Yamry wins heat race, feature at NCS

BARROWS-Brendon Yamry won his heat race and the feature race in the IMCA Sport Compact division Saturday at North Central Speedway.

Jerry Esler was looking for a win in his last race in his Mod 4 car, but came up short as Mitchell Hribar made it a weekend sweep with wins at Princeton Friday and at NCS Saturday with Esler finishing third behind Brennan Gave.

Tom Anderson won the Hobby Stock feature and Brandon Mehrwerth took the first-place trophy for the Northern Sport Modifieds.

Jake Geotze won the Super Stock feature and Shawn Fletcher was the winner in the Modifieds race.

It was also kids night with bikes being given away and the chance to get an autograph on the track with the drivers.
