Swimming: Frawley, Morris pace Gull Lake Challenge

Jeff Frawley of Indianapolis and Chris Morris of St. Cloud were overall winners in the fourth annual Zorbaz Gull Lake Challenge and Peter Johnson Memorial Race Saturday on Lake Margaret.

Frawley finished the 2.4-mile swim in 53 minutes, 4 seconds. Zoe Bresnahan of Plymouth, the overall runner-up, was the first female, finishing at 53:16.

Morris completed the 1.2-mile swim in 22:44. Fastest female, and the overall runner-up, was Anna Ogren of Rochester at 24:04.

There were 28 participants and 22 finishers in the 1.2-mile event and 42 participants and 36 finishers in the 2.4-mile.
