Swimming: Minneapolis, St. Cloud men lead Zorbaz Gull Lake Challenge

Joseph Anderson of Minneapolis and Christopher Morris of St. Cloud were overall winners in the third annual Zorbaz Gull Lake Challenge & Peter Johnson Memorial Swim Race Saturday on Lake Margaret.

Anderson paced the 2.4-mile event with a time of 50 minutes, 44 seconds.

Morris won the 1.2-mile swim at 26.05.

Christina Roberts of St. Louis Park was the female winner and finished third overall in the 2.4-mile swim at 52.47.

Zoe Bresnahan of Plymouth was the fastest female in the 1.2-mile swim and finished second overall at 26.17.

Thirty-nine of 40 participants finished the 2.4-mile swim.

Twenty-seven of 30 participants finished the 1.2-mile event.

The 2.4-mile relay was canceled.
