Addie Sanford and Kate Kurtzman were named Most Valuable Players for the Brainerd Warriors at the season-ending banquet held last week.
Ally Goeden was selected as the GRIT award winner for the hardest working player.
The most improved singles player went to Ella Chaussee. The most improved doubles player went to Sanford, Chloe Pecarich, Catherine Moraghan and Peyton McConkey.
McConkey also earned the Let’s Go Award.
Kurtzman, Lily Jones, goeden, Sanford and Pecarich were named to the All-Central Lakes Conference team. Earning honorable mention were Kate Chaussee, Moraghan and McConkey.
McConkey was an all-conference scholar athlete and as a team the Warriors earned a gold level award for the Minnesota Tennis Coaches Association Team Academic Award with an overall grade-point average of 3.83.
Ellie Brown earned the GRIT award for the junior varsity level. The most improved singles player was Avery Anakkala. Paige Beyer and Hannah Hayes were the most improved doubles players. Cassidy Grimsley earned the Let’s Go Award.
