Travis Jacobson helped the Hamline men's track and field team to first place out of 11 teams April 21 at Concordia College in Moorhead.
Jacobson, a Pequot Lakes High School graduate, finished second in the shot put, but was technically the top collegian thrower.
At the Bolstoff Twilight meet April 26, Jacobson placed third in the discus with a 151-foot-5-inch toss.
At the Willie Williams event March 16-17 in Tucson, Ariz., against Division I opponents, Jacobs finished fifth in the shot put and 15th in the discus.
Jacobs placed 12th in the shot put with a 50-10 effort at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
