COLD SPRING — Max Lelwica won the triple jump and high jump and was second in the 110-meter hurdles and long jump to lead the Brainerd Warriors boys to a 105-41 victory over Rocori in a Central Lakes Conference dual Tuesday, April 27.
The Warrior girls team fell to Rocori 78-68 Brenna Deason and Myah Nelson finished 1-2 in both the 100 and 200 dashes. Hanna Caughey swept the throwing events for the second straight meet.
Brainerd’s Emily Bastian (400 dash), Kamryn Peterson (triple jump) and Sabrina Buffetta (pole vault) also won.
Andrew Albright won the 110 hurdles and the long jump and was second in the triple jump. Dillon MacLaughlin claimed the 100 and 200 dashes and Aaron Stark won the 400 dash with Brandon Stark winning the 800 run and Thomas Ruhl the 1600 run.
Mitch Wind captured the shot and Baden Bastian won the pole vault for Brainerd.
