Track and Field: Huber places 15th

Minnesota State University Moorhead senior Brian Huber finished 15th in the long jump at the United States Track and Field Outdoor National Championships Sunday at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Huber's best jump of the day was his second effort of 24-7. He did not advance to the finals as the top eight qualified to advance.

"Today didn't go as well as I had hoped," he said. "but I am happy I got the chance to experience competing at this level. Even though I am done as a Dragon I am excited to see what is next for me as an athlete.'

Huber is the 2018 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Champion in the long jump. He finished MSUM track and field career with a national championship, four first-team All-American honors and five NSIC titles.
