The 13th annual Lakes Country Triathlon, presented by the Kiwanis of Baxter, is scheduled at Whipple Beach in Baxter the last weekend in August.
The kids triathlon is Aug. 29 followed by the adult triathlon Aug. 30 that includes a one-quarter mile swim, 13.6-mile bike ride and 3.2-mile run.
Individual fee is $70. Relay fee is $100.
Registration will close on ZapEvent at midnight Aug. 27. Mailed entries must be postmarked by Aug. 24. Entries will not be accepted after those dates.
Proceeds raised from this event will benefit youth in the lakes area and Kiwanis charities.
