Cinnamon-color (or cinnamon-phase) black bears are rare sights in Minnesota.

According to the Minnesota DNR, only 5% of black bears found in Minnesota have this coloring characteristic.

Early on Saturday morning, June 6th, Susan and Steve Stark were lucky to get a visit by one of these uniquely colored bears at their home near Crosslake and captured these photos.
