Hunter Wicklund struck out four over seven innings to pitch Brainerd to a 5-0 victory over Sauk Rapids Monday.
Wicklund helped his own cause by going 1-4 with an RBI at the plate. On the mound, he walked four and allowed three hits in the shutout.
Colin Kleffman and Sam Miller each finished 2-3 with two runs and Chris Karels drove in two runs. Kleffman added a double as did Max Boran.
