Brainerd's 15-year-old VFW team swept Rogers-Otsego in a doubleheader Saturday at Milles Field.
In Game One, Josh Hukriede was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs to help Brainerd to a 5-4 victory. Evan Storbakken drove in two runs.
Sam Miller pitched six innings to get the win. He allowed five hits and four earned runs with six strikeouts and three walks. Eric Martin earned a save. He allowed one hit and struck out two in the final inning.
Brainerd won Game Two 4-2 as Martin pitched a complete game. He allowed seven hits and two earned runs with one strikeout and one walk. Miller went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
