SAUK RAPIDS -- Mitchell Degen struck out four to pitch Brainerd to an 8-2 Game Two victory over Sauk Rapids Tuesday, June 25, after dropping Game One 6-5.
Degen allowed two runs on two hits and four walks over three innings. Brainerd scored eight runs without getting a hit. The secured seven walks and Sauk Rapids committed three errors.
Matt Karlson, Jack Schafer and Adam Jensen each drove in a run and Alex Jones scored twice in the victory.
Schafer went 3-4 with an RBI and Degen was 2-4 with two RBIs in Game one.
Cayden Kleffman scored twice. Riley DeRosier was 2-2 with two runs scored and Karlson posted two hits.
